AsiaRooms.com , a member of the TUI Travel PLC Group of Companies, the leading international leisure travel group has announced their annual Blogger Awards recognizing travel bloggers across the globe. Currently in its second edition, Asiarooms.com designed the awards show with a shared sense of ‘living the dream’ and recognizing individuals ( travel bloggers, photographers and filmmakers) who have taken the ‘road less traveled’ , ‘dreamed’, ‘explored’ and ‘discovered the world’, while inspiring others to follow suit.
Categories: The awards would recognize travel creatives in six categories such as ‘Foodie blog of the year’, ‘Newcomer of the year’, ‘Travel photographer of the year’, ‘Travel tips expert’, ‘Hotel review guru’ and ‘Travel video of the year.’
How to participate: It’s simple. Nominate yourself or your favorite travel blogger here. Quick 5 minutes and fill out the details such as name, blog URL, email ID and the category you feel is the most suitable for the blogger. And then help gain noise around the creation by sharing it on your social networks. Or may be just go ahead and nudge your friend! 🙂

Wondering why you would want to participate in this? I am reminded of a quote, that someone shared with me some time back:
“To my mind, the most amazing aspect of any awards is that they bring home to the people of a nation, place, a community, a realization of a common interest. They carry amazing stories, learnings and experiences to those who are less fortunate and have no contact with travel and unraveling the world, the international spirit.”
So what are you thinking? Go ahead! Vote on!
