Namaste! Hello! Konnichiwa! I am Deepika and well, I am just another traveller! I have been working as a communications consultant for over 5 years now. I belong to a family of nerds and travel lovers and therefore have been given itchy feet genetically. As I entered the fifth year of my professional stint, a minor health scare pushed me to take a forced two month sabbatical. While I started to get myself in the right spirits of health, I decided to stop dreaming about my old and trodden passion for travel and utilize this time to start traveling and share my travel experiences on my blog. Today, I am back at work, but I haven’t given up my travel love. I now utilize my weekends to fulfill my wanderlust and the rest of my days, I research and plan for my ‘bucket-list sojourns.’ I also freelance with travel companies, blogs, resorts and travel websites to keep my travel fund going! I dream of quitting my career one day, selling off all my possessions and truly be a vagabond someday. But before, I do that, as they say- “there are promises to keep, there are miles to go…” Therefore, the only way to maintain a fine balance between both my life commitments and self-commitment is “take weekend breaks and once a year make an annual; pilgrimage to my favourite place in the world!”
And what a big world out there for us to see, right?? Happy travels and hope the health scare has now resolved!!

Thank you for your kind words Ajay. As for tips, if you are looking at setting up a more professional blog, I would recommend WordPress. It allows you the window to play with themes and content. Ascertain, whether you would like to keep it content oriented or add some dash of photos as well. Visual element definitely keeps the reader engaged. I did go through your blog and I think- you could do a bit more with the visual appearance of the blog. Be consistent with your blogging schedule, so as to keep the regular readers engaged.Hope this helps. Drop me an email, if you need any more detailed information. I am available at deepikagumaste88@gmail.com

We have been working hard so we could save up a bit as next year we are taking a year off! We will probably spend 6 months in South America then we will probably go to Europe. You can do it too!
